SCREAMS FROM THE DARKSIDE METALFEST 06 jul 05
The full lineup for the SCREAMS FROM THE DARKSIDE METALFEST has been announced. Joining AVERIS at will be
BIND, THE MISTRESS, SHADOW REALM, END OF DAYS, SOCIETIES INFECTION, AGONY DIVINE, FREXON ZO, and DOWN FROM
ZERO.
The event will take place on Sunday, the 31st of July, at ARIES LOUNGE in Raleigh, NC, beginning at around
4pm and ending around 1am. More details still to come, but it's looking good. Excellent venue, as well!

IN SEARCH OF KEYBOARDIST?? 11 Jun 05
AVERIS is toying with the possibility of adding a full-time keyboardist. Randall has been handling keys thus
far, but the addition of the right keyboardist could free him up to concentrate more on vocals, as well as
free him up to handle a second guitar when it's needed, or even a second keyboard for that matter. The band
isn't going for just any keyboardist; it must be someone who can add their own feel to the sound, while at
the same time fit in with what's already happening. If you think you're the one for the job, drop the band
a note at mail@averisband.com.

Two MP3 files have now been added to the site for your aural pleasure. "Crimson Skies" and "Pure" show two
different sides of the band, and were recorded at their 09 April gig at The Berkeley Cafe in Raleigh, NC.

DEBUT GIG AT THE BERKELEY CAFE 05 Mar 05
AVERIS played their first gig on Friday night, the 4th of March, and the turnout and response
were positive, especially for a first gig. Thanks to everyone who came out, and look for more AVERIS performances coming soon.
Thanks also to BLACKWATCH and SHADOW REALM for turning in excellent sets. Both bands put on a great show and it was quite
obvious the bands and the fans were having a blast, which is what it's all about. We hope to see them on the road again soon!

AVERIS SET FOR STAGE DEBUT 02 Mar 05
AVERIS will be playing their first live gig on Friday, the 4th of March,
at The Berkeley Cafe in downtown Raleigh, NC. Joining them will be BLACKWATCH and SHADOW REALM. More

VOCALIST FOUND 09 Dec 04
After a few auditions of varying degree, AVERIS has finally chosen a vocalist.
Taking the mic for the band will be Randall 'Randakk' Rhodes. Randakk, who is also an accomplished
bass player, has previously worked with such bands as MILLENNIUM, DEAR DEAD DELILA, and MR. BLACKWELL.
His unusual vocal style, a bit of a Phil Collins-Mike Patton-Geoff Tate-Robert Smith hybrid, along with
his naive skills on the keyboard, should provide an interesting contrast to the musical style Tim, Eric,
and Carsten have been putting together.
