d w e l l Dwell was a recording project i did with guitarist Eric Aittala and drummer Brian LaRue from the time i left Averis in 2005 until it finally fizzled out some time in 2008. While never making it beyond 'recording project', it was a lot of fun and we wrote some excellent music (in my never-so-humble opinion, of course). I was fully ready to take it live for a while there, but Brian pulled out early-on, and later efforts with the equally-talented Brent Stalnaker weren't meant to be, as Eric's focus had shuffled to his Mötley Crüe tribute band. With no future here, i looked elsewhere as well, landing the lead vocalist position in ShadowRealm. In the course of our recordings, however, we did manage to top the Indie Metal charts on the resurrected Cashbox Magazine on two separate occasions, as well as winning 2 'Golden Kayak' awards for metal on IAC.
